A female neelgai (bluebull) with egret, a common scene at Velavadar. Male neelgais are blueish black and bigger hence their name bluebull or neel(blue) gai(cow), also the largest antelope in India. Although in velavadar they are protected there are other places where they still sometimes are considered pest destroying crop and usually farmers have licenses to kill them. Photographed with a nikon d300 + nikkor200400vr.
